Traveling Tech

My post yesterday made me think about what I do to keep my load lite when I travel...especially internationally
- iGo power supply. The iGo rovides both AC / DC in a single package. The DC plug has both the car and the special airplane adapters included. Using this eliminates need for both an AC and a DC supply. You can have multiple tips, but just have one for my laptop
- USB cables for all other electronic devices. Most devices provide charging through the USB cable. Internationally this means that you need the adapter for the laptop only and then everything else plugs into your laptop
- Universal travel adapter. I found an adapter that works with UK, Europe and Austrulia in a single package at an airport in Oslo. I've now found that this type of adapter has been upgraded to include an option to plug in a USB cable. For example, Kensington has one of these (http://us.kensington.com/html/7207.html).
- Sprint Card for the Laptop.
- Rollup Network and phone cables, I especially like the Belkin network cable that includes adapters for connecting onto or extending other cables.
